CHILDREN’S SERVICES:

HLFCC’s Children’s Program focuses on trauma-informed support, advocacy and counseling for children of all ages who have witnessed or are victims of domestic and sexual violence by creating a safe place to heal, grow and learn how to develop healthy relationships.

Children within our program receive:

• A service/safety plan that focuses on the child’s strengths, needs and exposure to trauma.
• One-on-One counseling
• Collaborative partnership with School and Teachers to help decrease trauma symptoms or problematic behaviors

Non-Offending Parents and Caregivers within our program receive:

• Collaborative partnership with our advocates and counselors to help decrease trauma symptoms or problematic behaviors with education and the development of tools needed to assist children to heal and grow into healthy adults.
